Iain Hume, a Canadian footballer, began his professional career with Tranmere Rovers in 1999 after joining the club as a trainee. He made his debut for Tranmere Rovers on April 15, 2000, in a match against Swindon. Over his time with the club, Hume made a significant impact, appearing in 186 matches, starting 121 of them, and making 65 substitute appearances. He scored a total of 37 goals for Tranmere Rovers. In 2005, Hume transferred to Leicester City for a fee of £500,000.
